Karen is back for Part Two of our episode by episode analysis of Marvel Studios’ Loki.
(1:09) We start off with Episode 3 and this is when we get to really meet Sylvie. Who is she, what can she do and what are her plans? We break down the character and her beats and her interaction with Loki.
(3:24) Comparisons to Logan’s Run and the mad dance on the train. They talk about their mothers and we really get inside both of their heads. The Time Loop and we get to see Sif again! There are some great interactions with Mobius and he leans the truth. And we see that moment that Loki and Sylvie fall in love, and just what does that mean.
(16:28) Episode 5 really shows off Loki’s glorious purpose and we get to meet many more variant Lokis. There is so much to see in this episode, and we learn how Classic Loki’s history might teach how the present tense Loki might still be alive.
(26:24) Doom? We really wanted it here but we get something different in Episode 6. We finally meet Kang, or at least a variant of him. Just what does this mean to the series, and to the MCU?

Now that FastFret and SeanGeek are both playing hours of the multiplatform hit State of Decay 2, we have come upon various tips and tricks, strategies, best practices, and overall understanding of how best to beat the game (over and over again). This game has replayability written all over it. We cover lots of ground, so here is the breakdown of this episode and the stuff we covered:
(2:08) Pull up your radio and call in for assistance in various capacities, primarily with Prestige Points. How do you get them and what are they good for? And what other things can you call in?
(7:31) Red Talon are a faction within the game series, and in this iteration, you can play as Red Talon members in the Daybreak mode. Gaining Prestige Points spills over in the Campaign portion of the game, which allows recruiting Red Talon into your Community. We explain how.
(8:25) Outposts are extensions of your Base and can provide much needed assistance, in more ways than are immediately apparent. Learn how we use Outposts in the game to maximize resource gathering, making sure your base is well protected, and how having a floating outpost makes everything better.
(10:38) Your Base has a number of spots that yield different results to your Community. What are the best Facilities your Base needs?
(12:00) How do Skills in the game work and what happens when they level?
(13:39) Your Base is set up with some Facilities, but did you know you can Modify each of them?
(14:34) Finishing the Game is not the end. What happens when you beat State of Decay 2 and why would you play again?

(32:08) Always bring another member of your Community with you on missions. It doubles your carrying capacity. We explain how to make the best use of bringing a companion on missions.
(34:39) Choosing a Leader sets up a variety of missions in the game. Which should you choose? Remember that each leader type gets their own story. Which of the four types will you play?
(37:40) Making Ammo can help your Community last a long time. You might run out of ammo, but you can make more with the right Facilities and Mods.
(39:06) Each Leader type gets you different things in the game. Here is a quick runthrough of what each gets you.
(39:50) As easy as the game is to get into, there is a level of complexity that helps in the replayability. You can get as deep as you want, mastering all of the details to play the hardest levels of the game, or you can jump in yours or someone else’s game and just kill zombies. This game caters to all.

Seanorama and FastFret have their mom on the show. Mom talks what it was like once she and Dad took on that first move away from home, where they travelled first to Winnipeg, then Montreal, (then Winnipeg again), Argentina, and Prince Albert. Mom and Dad lived life like a grand adventure and Mom has stories to tell.
Mom covers a lot of ground, and this is sprinkled with lots of stories of an infamous block party, the courage to leave their birthplace and the chances Dad had to take for our family. That first move to Winnipeg opened opportunities for Dad and opened the world for all of us.
(12:20) The move to Argentina was built on a lot of steps and the eventual move there changed the game for Mom and Dad. Mom has lots of stories of their time there, of the change in culture, language and way of life.
(30:08) Eventually, Mom and Dad moved back to Canada, which set up another series of adventures. The boys discuss the film they made they scared the daylights out of Mom that almost prompted an intervention.
(36:16) Next Dad was able to move onto a job in Florida while working remotely from Winnipeg, which included travel to South America in Chile and Brazil.

(52:48) Once upon a time, Mom and Dad were in a band called Pieces of Eight. Mom shares some memories of them and her other band Gentle Touch that used to perform at La Cave A Pape.
(57:04) During the summers, Todd and I would go to our uncle Paul and aunt Carole’s while dad worked the night shift. We share stories of Mom’s brothers (the Gould Brothers) and share some theories on our roots and patriarch of the Gould family, Bill.
